Swollen Vagina?

I recently went to the doctor for a itchy, red vagina and butt, which is all on the SAME left side. I was told by my docter that I more than likely have eczema, which is a skin condition.I was given a prescription cream.





My question is, on the one side where this all itches and is irritated, the lower wall of the labia majora (where normally youd feel the bony wall of your vagina) feels bigger than the other normal side and feels enlarged and maybe swollen. My docter didnt mention anything to me about that when I was there so maybe its part of my eczema? But why hasnt it gone away yet? (Its been 5 days?) I didnt know if I should go back to the docter in a few weeks or just wait for my next pap smear (in March)?

I would go again.. and if you are not happy with what your DOC is saying... switch DOCS!!











I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is a condition of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.

Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.
