I would like to participate in a free research study to be able to get a better understanding of this skin condition, what causes it to flare up and what I can do to keep it under control. I am in the Dallas Texas area if someone could tell me who I might contact.
I am currently without health insurance and suffer with extreme hand exzcema.?
You may want to start with the National Eczema Association, they may know of research being done, etc. The may also be able to give you listings of local support. Their website is www.nationaleczema.org.

You can sign up to be notified of research studies that interest you including eczema. For the time being wash your hands only with cetaphil and imediately after apply lotion preferably something heavy duty like aquaphor or vaseline.
Flare ups are different for everyone although colder/dryer temperatures seem to aggrevate the condition. If you suffer from seasonal allergies they may also cause flare ups.
