Would this affect a potential friendship?

Would someone's physcial appearance affect whether you would be friends or not? As in weight, skin condition, a deformity, etc.





Do you make initial "judgments" on people based on these things? (before you ever meet them)

I think it's human nature to get a first impression of someone based on appearance and hygiene. Those things can say a lot about someone.


However, the bigger person will look past those initial feelings and get to know that person more before making a decision on friendship or any relationship at all.


We can't help the "initial judgments" but we also need to keep an open heart and mind and try to be accepting of all types.

It's not like only some people do it though.


I wouldn't mind if it's their quirks.


But they can at least be presentable.


And have good hygeine.
Reply:No, i try not too, life is too short to be so judgmental all the time. if your a good person it shouldn't matter how you look because looks fade.
