Our cat is hurt?

Our cat seems to be devolping several bumps along her neck, three proceeding backwards in a line from her ear, and two on the bottom of her throat. The largest of these seems to be accompanied by a small triangular laceration or puncture wound, leading me to believe that it might be a bite wound or something equally transient. However, none of these wounds seem to cause her pain, as she doesn't seem to mind us touching them, she's just annoyed that we hold her down so we can examine them.

We are concerned that our cat might have some sort of skin condition we're unfamiliar with. Any ideas? (And is there anything like WEBMD for cats [input your symptoms, find info on possible diseases?])

i would suggest taking her to a vet, since that will eliminate most of the concerns you have and actually let you know what is going on.
Reply:if your cat wear collar on then must be a collar allergic sometimes pets collars whatever it made of can cause bumps. i think you should talk to your vet and have your cat for treatment to check see what is it .
Reply:It sounds like something my dog once had, but we found out it was a alergic reaction to his collar. If your cat does have a collar, you might wan't to take it off, Or go see a vet.
Reply:vet immediately
Reply:my cats have had that. if it's a puncture wound with a lump then she needs to go to the vet asap. this is an absess and they can die from it. it's an infection from a cat bite. whatever it is i think the vet would be the best thing for it. it could be a number of things if it's not an absess. tumors (malignant or banine) allergy, regular scratch wounds that scarred... there's a lot of possibilities.
Reply:There are so many possible things this could be the best way to find out would be a vet. Could just be an allergy that is causing her to overly scratch and puncture herself or it could be some other skin condition. You could try vetinfo4cats.com, you can't put in symptoms and get answers but you could look at their list of skin conditions. Hope that helps.
