Thin eyebrows from alopecia, any way to make them full again?

ten years ago i got a skin condition called Alopecia Areata, i lost patches of hair on my head, arms, eyelashes and eyebrows, my eyebrows and eyelashes completely went away, my eyelashes are finally growing back (really short but theyre back)





however, my eyebrows are really thin, not dark like they used to be, and very very sparse





is there any way to make them grow fuller and thicker (i know thats the opposite of what most women want these days)





help me, ive had to draw in my eyebrows for ten years and i just want real ones

I would recommend asking a cosmetic surgeon about this. In the meantime, in addition to drawing them in, also run a eyebrow mascarra through the eyebrows you do have.

Reply:lots of people get them tatooed on and they look pretty good, you just have to go to someone experienced with this sort of thing. Some plastic surgeons even do it.
Reply:I'm filimar with that condition, you should go to your regualr doctor and he will prescribe meds to you or inject needles to your head to regrow the hair. Just go and found out.


Sometimes, Alopecia Areata wont ever grow away, its in your genes (sometimes) and ten years ago is a long time ago, i think you're stuck with ti but dont worry, just go to your doctor and found out what you can do or find a haircut that can cover up the blad spot

Reply:I'm sorry you have this condition a family member of mine and a good friends mom of mine has the same thing. unfortunently my friends mom never got ANY of her hair back and my brother still cant get hair back in certain spots. I would maybe talk to your doctor and see if you could get a steroid or something..I'm not really too sure. Good Luck tho...I'm sure u look beautiful anyway!
Reply:I once saw on TV a lady who lost hers. She had them tattooed on. They were beautiful.
Reply:There is a product made by an Australian owned company that makes a pen that's has a special clear gel with eyebrow hairs in it...it sounds weird...but its great especially if you over pluck etc... its made by "Model Co" check out there website..i think most countrys stock there products!
