Why is it that so many people look at me...?

I have a skin condition that appeared on my face, so it looks like I have been in a fight-(it is not contagioius)-and I am a little over whieght, why do people only see the outside, and why don't people try to look beyond my face...I am a nice guy, recepectable and a Christen. I know for a fact that those are a few qualities some girls look for in guys. So why not me?

Why is it that so many people look at me...?
Unfortunately...people pre judge us on our appearance (I have heard within 5 seconds we are classified, and put into a category). So to overcome that what you need to do is accept yourself the way you are and be comfortable in being the best you possible.





Once people get past your appearance they will see the soul that shines within...and will be drawn to that.





There are a lot of girls that would love to go out with somebody like you, that accepts them, appreciates them, and you would be a "refreshing change" in a lot of girls life's because they have been dating good looking people that have no souls.





Believe me...there are a lot of good looking people out there and all they care about is them. After awhile a smart girl would leave them and look for somebody like you.





So hang in there, I believe the right person for you is just around the corner!

Reply:Because they are curious about you. That's why they look at you. They want to know what the deal is with your face. The next time it happens go intrudes your self. I'm not kidding.


I hope I didn't offend you but at least I am giving you the truth and something that will work for real.
Reply:Love you first and drop the poor me stuff. Stop looking and when you meet her both of you will know it's right. Everything happens in it's own time. You sound like a nice guy so if you don;t let your problems bother you they won;t bother the ones around you. There are still decent people out there so let go and let god I guess.
Reply:ppl stare b/c they are curious. be upfront and open a/b your condition. once the curiousity goes away then they'll leave you alone. Also, your condition could be a blessing, it could get you to be more outgoing, and let ppl get to know you. from there, the longer ppl talk to you the less they'll knowtice how different you are from them.


i don't know what your skin condition is but it can't be as bad as growing up the only person in town who is of your race, and having to get into fights every day, then having everyone call you the crazy bully, when in fact the provoked you and hit you first.


So yeah, your skin condition may get better, but even in this day in age I still get treated like an outsider or un-American b/c I'm asian. If your worried a/b your weight, stop eathing after 7pm, does wonders. and walk as much as you can.


note to anyone who is curious: my parents had to come here b/c of an incident no one seems to know a/b, forced my parents to become refugees and the U.S.gov't brought us here b/c the incident was partly U.S's fault(they started the chain reaction), and now theres nothing left to go back to.
